Synopsis Of The Body Farm 1x 2 : DI Hale suspects a reclusive businessman of the rape and murder of a young man. Starting with a severed hand, Eve and her team make an important discovery, but establishing who is responsible for the murder proves difficult.Keith Allen plays Detective Inspector Hale in this Waking the Dead spin-off about a group of modern forensic scientists. In it only Dr Eve Lockhart (Tara Fitzgerald) has any previous experience dealing with the aftermath of a horrific crime.

After the severed hand of a young men is discovered close to Harold Penton's estate, Hale believes that Penton is guilty of rape and murder. Penton is successful businessman and a recluse and very keen to protect his privacy. Jimmy West, does his best to prevent Hale from getting too close claiming that Penton is too ill to be questioned. Eve and the team use forensic evidence to press ahead with the investigation and after making a compelling discovery, they still struggle to prove who is responsible for the young man's death.
